We are very excited to be holding our 2025 Gathering In-Person at the Georgia Aquarium! The Southeast has been on the forefront of healthcare collaborations, innovations and thought leadership. We are proud to bring together and highlight those efforts at our 2025 annual event.


Our 2024 gathering brought together over 1,200 decision-makers, innovators and the next generation of health leaders. We look forward to seeing everyone and celebrating our 12th year anniversary of the Southeast's largest healthcare gathering.

Join Emory University's School of Medicine for its Founders Series event where we spotlight innovators who have successfully translated scientific discovery into real-world impact. Join featured guest speaker, Dr. Russell M. Medford from Covanos for a 15-min talk, “Precision Medicine through Innovations in Computational and AI-Based Medical Imaging” – the integration of cardiovascular disease biology, computational modeling, AI and image analysis to diagnose and treat cardiovascular disease as the primary example – Covanos.

Bioentrepreneurship Networking Series

When you join the Winship 5K, you'll support cancer research and advances in treatments that are helping patients live longer, healthier lives.


General Information

The Winship 5K run/walk is a family-friendly virtual and in-person event held on the Emory University campus that benefits cancer research at Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University. In 2024, the fourteenth annual event raised more than $1,000,000. To date, the event has raised over $11.4 million in support of cancer research at Winship Cancer Institute.


Join us on October 4, 2025 for the Winship 5K run/walk! You can create a team or join the Winship 5K as an individual. We invite you to set a $250 minimum fundraising goal and encourage your friends, family and co-workers to join you in making a difference against cancer.
